We have reviewed blood tests taken over the last year in order to identify a condition called prediabetes (non-diabetic hyperglycaemia). This is where sugar control is not quite normal, but is not so severe as to be classed as diabetes.
People with non-diabetic hyperglycaemia are at greater risk of developing type 2 diabetes, but the risk can be reduced through lifestyle changes.
You will need a repeat blood test once a year.
