Hedingham Medical Centre will be switching our Clinical System to SystmOne from 17th April 2020. This new system is the one used by all but one other Mid Essex GP surgery. It is the same system used by the Community services (District Nurses and School Nurses) and is linked to the local hospitals. It will make us more efficient and all for a quicker exchange of patient information in the NHS.
There will be some disruption to services between the 6th April 2020 and the 16th April 2020 while our old system is closed down and the new one is set up.
ONLINE ACCESS
Online access for requesting prescriptions or booking appointments will be turned off on 6th April in Patient Access. You will need to contact us in person or by telephone to access our services. On 20th April 2020 our new SystmOnline service will be available. All patients currently registered for online access will be given a new user name and password for SystmOnline and will be able to access services as before.
PATIENTS WHO COLLECT PRESCRIPTIONS FROM CHEMISTS
Double prescriptions will be issue in w/c 9 March and w/c 16 March for appropriate, regular medication.
DISPENSING PATIENTS
In March you will be given your usual script and we will ask for your next month’s order at the point of collection
