Despite there being a global pandemic which affected GP services in 2020-2021, the National GP Patient Satisfaction Survey gave our surgery an overall satisfaction rating of 79% which is better than our CCG average of 78%.
The main findings are that it is hard to get through on the phone, but when you do the receptionists are helpful, it is hard to speak to your preferred GP or healthcare professional but when you do get an appointment they will be good at listening, treat you with care and concern and they have 100% trust in the clinicians. We score better than average on recognising mental health needs and meeting patient needs. As a surgery we are aware that we need to improve our telephone access and our appointment system and are making every effort to get better in these areas.
